Parrot, I think you mean it can’t be *effectively* legistlated. If you ban the word “nigger” people will use it more just to spite the ban. And if I say “nigger” I’ll get my ass kicked with or without a ban because, of course, there’s public consensus that I can’t say it.

How can you possibly sue anybody over this? I’m pretty sure there’s absolutely no law in place anywhere that restricts the way people can assign meanings to words.
